TWO brand new show homes are set to offer inspiration and creativity and promise to take visitors on a new home adventure at Brook View, Leigh.
Opening their doors this weekend (April 10th/ 11th) at the Bettison Avenue development are a three-bedroom Rutland and a two-bedroom Arran.
Unlike other show homes, it’s not just the adults who’ll walk away feeling inspired because children can become budding explorers too.
Prospect Homes enlisted Stanza Style to furnish both homes so they demonstrate accessible styling options that everyone can achieve.
Alex Egan, founder of Stanza Style says: “The two-bedroom Arran is ideal for young professionals who are taking the leap onto the property ladder for the first time. We’ve made this home appeal to a younger audience by making the colour palettes as ‘punchy’ as possible by using hot pink and teal. Both colours also give off summer, ‘boho’ vibes which is ideal as we head into the summer months.
“In the kitchen, that comes as standard in the Arran, we’ve included a black and white chequerboard floor to give off a retro feel. This flooring also comes as a standard choice. This is paired with hot pink paint on the walls that really stands out against the white cabinetry.
“The lounge doubles as a dining area too and is a great space. To keep this room as fresh as possible we’ve paired white furniture with pops of colour in the feature teal coloured wallpaper and hot pink detailing on the sofa to bring the colour palette together. We’ve also used a huge round wall mirror to differentiate the dining area from the lounge, something that is very on trend at the minute.”
Upstairs, one of the bedrooms includes a working from home station and includes some unique hexagonal touch lights that can be purchased online.
Sam Williams, head of sales at Prospect Homes says: “In these show homes at Brook View we wanted to ensure that buyers feel like they can easily achieve these looks. More often than not buyers leave show homes feeling like they will have to spend a lot of money to achieve the same interiors, but this is something we’ve worked hard to avoid here.”
The Rutland is a three-bed semi-detached home that is ideal for a young family.
Alex continues: “In the Rutland we have presented some upgraded specifications in things like the kitchen worktops and bathroom tiles. The Rutland has taken a slightly more sophisticated design and we’ve blended botanical greens with rusty gold textures and black furniture to give it an edgy dimension.
“When you walk into the lounge you straight away are guided out of the French doors and into the garden but inside, we wanted to create a ‘cosy night in’ vibe. We also wanted to show just how much furniture this room can hold so we’ve used a corner chaise sofa, a central coffee table plus two more side tables and an occasional chair in front of the TV unit.”
The room that commands all the attention in the Rutland is the children’s room where ‘adventures into the Amazon’ has taken centre stage.
“This room very much has Jumanji vibes and we’ve been able to be totally creative in here as we want to inspire young minds. We’ve also weaved in the link to the botanical elements used downstairs in feature wallpaper and faux plants through the bedroom’s theme. The bed was bespoke and was made really easily with jump poles, a canopy with hessian over the top and a toddler’s mattress. The wallpaper looks like a hand painted mural and I guarantee there will be a lot of young children who see it who then want their bedroom to mirror what we’ve done here.”
Brook View offers two, three and four-bedroom homes that start from approximately £155,000.
