WHALLEY C of E Primary School has received a donation that will be used to purchase a summerhouse for their forest school.
The primary school will use Prospect Homes’ donation to purchase the timber and insulation for a brand-new summerhouse that will be used as an outdoor classroom so that outdoor learning can still continue in inclement weather.
Mr Blackburn, head teacher of Whalley C of E Primary School said: “The school is very proud of its forest school provision and the children absolutely love their time there. We will be making many improvements to it this year, but the summerhouse is a great starting point.”
Sam Palin, head of sales at Prospect Homes said: “Whenever we start building homes in a new area, we always try to integrate into the local community. Whalley Primary School is the closest school to Mitton Grange and serves the Whalley community so we’re really pleased we could play a part in enhancing their forest school offer.”
To find out more about the homes at Mitton Grange, the show homes and sales office are open Thursday to Monday from 10am-5pm. Alternatively house hunters can visit www.prospecthomes.co.uk/mitton-grange
