A MAJOR milestone has been reached at Prospect Homes’ Brook View in Leigh with the first buyers settling into their brand new home.
There’s been a string of firsts for Rob Mann and his partner Meg Partington – they’ve bought their first home and were the first to reserve and move in at Prospect Homes’ Brook View.
The couple, who’ve moved from nearby Tyldesley where they lived with family while saving for their deposit, say their whole buying experience has been amazing and it was made even more special by the fact that they were the first to move in.
Rob said: “We always knew we wanted to buy over renting somewhere and the timing of Brook View launching went hand in hand with when we were financially ready to purchase a home.
“We went to look at the show homes at The Ridings in Longridge first and that’s where we met Jas, the sales executive. From that first meeting we felt that Prospect was going to be a really good developer to buy from.”
The couple used the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme that’s available to first time buyers and were able to secure their home with just a 5% deposit.
They decided to purchase a three-bed detached Malvern and say they fell in love with its layout, the amount of storage space and the size of the lounge.
“We did go to view other developers houses that were a similar size and style to the Malvern and the use of space everywhere else didn’t compare. We feel like we have made such a good decision to buy this house style, it’s an ideal first home,” said Rob.
And the couple say that Prospect’s care and attention to detail didn’t end when they moved in: “The sales team at Brook View have been amazing from the start but since moving in they have continued to take care of us and made the whole process run as stress-free as possible. We feel very lucky and are now ready to enjoy our lovely new home.”
Brook View, off Bettison Avenue, will deliver 57 two, three and four-bedroom homes ideal for all life stages.
