PROSPECT Homes, the developer behind Brook View in Leigh, says it has been selling homes as fast as they’re released meaning they are over 50% sold less than a year after launching.
The post-lockdown housing market is booming in Leigh and the housebuilder has revealed that as well as selling more than half of the homes, it has also secured reservations on the rest (except the two show homes) just 10 months after going on sale.
Since launching sales at Brook View on Bettison Avenue, 56% of homes have sold. And the constant demand for new builds in the area has meant the housebuilder has made the remaining homes available through its ‘early bird’ scheme which means homes that weren’t officially released have been secured by buyers.
Sam Williams, head of sales at Prospect Homes said: “Brook View has been one of our most successful developments to date. Right from when we launched sales, we saw a huge amount of interest with potential buyers crediting the development’s location, tucked away nicely from any busy main roads, and it being a relatively small development, as the main reasons it was so appealing.
“The pandemic and numerous lock-downs has also made some buyers even more determined to find their dream home after spending so much time in homes that weren’t satisfactory over the past 18 months.”
Out of Prospect’s 50 homes at Brook View, 12 are now occupied and Sam says they are aiming to have all homes sold by the end of March 2022.
