Burnley community invited to apply for a share of £2,000 grant

About the Community Roots scheme

Good causes from Burnley are being offered the chance to share £2,000 from our Community Roots scheme.

The scheme has been launched to mark the recent opening of show homes at Hollinsgate and as we continue to sell more homes at the development, we also want to get right to the heart of the community and discover what makes the area a great place to live.

We are offering £500 to four good causes: it’s a great way of giving something back and celebrating the neighbourhood spirit.

Perhaps you are a local sports team, school, mum and baby group or a charity who help the vulnerable or maybe you need funds to paint a community centre, supply a school with books, or to help facilitate therapy sessions for people with additional needs, we’re keen to hear from you.

We want to support worthy causes in the area, so smaller projects local to our development in Burnley will be preferred.

You can nominate yourself or your organisation or put forward a person or group that is active locally.
