PROSPECT HOMES SPONSORS FEMALE TALENT EVENT

 In Community News, News

Prospect Homes is sponsoring an inspiring day for women in business in Halton.

The ‘Actually She Can’ event, organised by the Mayoress, Andrea Wainwright, as part of the Mayor’s Charity Fundraising events, will take place in February 2025 and will offer women a unique opportunity for personal growth and professional development in the workplace. It will also be investing in the future female talent in Halton Borough by raising money which will be used to create bursary opportunities for young people in Halton, to support them into higher education or apprenticeships.

We’re proud to champion gender diversity within our workforce, recognising the invaluable contributions women bring to the development of new homes.

Our support of the ‘Actually She Can’ event means we can play a part in inspiring women and leave them feeling energised and motivated to get the most out of their careers.

As a company we actively promote gender balance. Women excel in various roles, from architects and engineers to project managers and sales consultants. This dedication to inclusivity is a testament to our forward-thinking ethos and its role as a leader in the industry.

We have also teamed up with The Women into Home Building programme, run by the Home Builders Federation (HBF), to promote careers in homebuilding to women. We’re one of only a few SMEs in the North to have signed up to the programme and will welcome two women to the our latest development Abbey Vale in Widnes for work experience later this year.
